My Ginormous Baby

Seriously, he's the size of an average 18 month old! Forget that, he could beat down an average 18 month old or at least sit on him until he said "uncle." At his last Doctor's appointment (over two weeks ago) he was 31 and a half inches and nearly 23 pounds.

He's not even nine months old.

Not only is he large (and in charge) but has six teeth coming in at once. The bottom two popped through last month, now his two front and incisors are all coming in at the same time plus two more on the bottom.

He'll be eating steak by Christmas.

And probably be dancing by New Year's. He's pulling up on everything, baring weight well, not steady enough to take a step but much closer to walking than my girls were at this age.

I feel like this accelerated growth is all to spite me for wanting to cram him back into his 3-6 month jammies and snuggle him for a few minutes longer.

But, it is unstoppable. Time marches on and my baby is going to be six feet tall by summer.

He's busting out of his 12 month jammies, literally...

BubTar was that way...he's averaged out now, though, in the elementary years.

The jammies photo is HILARIOUS!

Guess he needs 2T clothes. Has he been watching football with his dad?

During my time with you folks in Ca. for Xmas, I was hoping to cajole, rocking and put him to sleep in my arms like I did with the girls. I guess that by Xmas he will be able to rock me to sleep.

You've got one cute, albeit big, baby on your hands!

I had to go back to Adam's baby book, but he was around 21 pounds at 7 months (which we thought was HUGE). He made it to about 22 and then stayed that weight for what seemed like forever.

We're in the same boat - just take a look at Lynnae. We've been fighting it ever since she came home from the hospital and nothing fit!

Holy moly!!!!!! He IS ginormous. Way to go, Mama's milk!

Um, Dalton is 2 and a half and I'm pretty sure he's only around 24 pounds.

So, if we're wanting to do another clothing exchange at all, it might present a problem. Our 2 year old friend is in the 18 month sized stuff. Actually, Dalton's sweater today is still only 18 months!
