Pre-Thanksgiving Tradition

Photobucket
My stepmother, aka MorMor, used to spend hours preparing the centerpiece of our Thanksgiving table. It was always so beautiful, a somewhat edible arrangement of nuts and cranberries, candles and tangerines. The table was complete with her beautiful Chrystal plates and glasses and the setting always took the meal to a higher level.

Passing on this tradition of edible Thanksgiving centerpieces, Mimi taught the girls this year how to "make pretty MorMor style"!

PhotobucketWhat do you think, MorMor, did we do okay?

Yes, you did more than OK my dear! So lovely to see you carry the tradition further......to walk in beauty is good for the soul, I feel.

Make pretty Mormor style. Does this also include painting white lines for when the girls get older? :)
Table looks great!
