We took advantage of the lovely weather on the first day of Spring and got the girls dressed (15 min), Mimi and I showered and dressed (25 min), John Patrick fed, changed and dressed (45 min), lunch packed (20 min), equipment gathered (5 min), diaper bag packed (5 min), children wrangled (7 min), walk to the park (12 min) and enjoyed a truly lovely peaceful picnic lunch with the girls and little dude. The warm sun, dappled shade and cool breeze was sooo worth the effort.

Isn't that true about the time. Have you noticed a huge jump in your laundry pile? I didn't notice so much with Ranen and Micah but with Kaiya, I don't know where all the laundry and dishes are coming from and she doesn't even eat yet.
Oh Julie (and Jessica)...this is scaring me. :) At least you got out. That is encouraging. I love seeing you with your girls in your lap.
We've been itching for a picnic! It looks like you had a relaxing time after all that work getting ready!
There's just something about being outdoors that makes all the effort worthwhile. And I loved the days when Drew would sleep absolutely anywhere...made doing things like that so much easier. Now he'd rather eat the dirt than sleep on it. ;)
Man, that's why I rarely went out when K was a little bit. Glad it was worthwhile!
