We spent the night in Saratoga Springs visiting Sarah and Jonathan and their girls Chloe and Julie. Chris and Sarah got up early and ran a 5k while Jonathan and I sipped coffee and hung back with the kids. Although the race was the reason for the trip, the intention was to spend time with great friends. It was a nice start to this month of giving thanks, I'm so grateful to have friends I've known for over 20 years.
Julie and Athena are two months apart in age and are pretty adorable together. I know you can't force lifelong friends on your child, but you can hope!
