Today Chris and Athena were dispatched to purchase "inside shoes" for her classroom and perhaps some new sneakers. And they came home with these. Apparently, while Chris was trying to fit Dora shoes on her little feet, she saw them over his shoulder, pointed and pleaded "Kitty boots!! Boots! Kitty booooots!!!" Chris tells me I would have bought them for her too. Now, Athena is happily prancing around the house in her new boots and will probably want to sleep in them. Can we send her to school with these as her "inside shoes" or will that make her the weird kid?

Totally the weird kid, but the trend setting weird kid. Athena will have the whole class wearing kitty boots by the end of the week.
